Roberts History
Born and raised in Hawaii staying in joint family, Poor financially but his Dad was head of education for state of Hawaii. Robert says he has two dads, The one his own Biological dad named late Mr. Ralph H. Kiyosaki and The other his RichDad whose name he never takes in his books. Once completed his graduation from New York, he had 2 options with him of either joining a huge high paid company, another joining the U.S Marine Corp and he selected to dedicated himself in marine for his country and fought in Vietnam war as officer and helicopter gunship pilot.
Robert started his career at Xerox corporation as guided by his Richdad to be a sales person and get the best business skill and he did the same. Later in 1977 he founded his first Nylon and Vector wallet company which showed skills of successful business person turning it to multi-million dollar company. Due to competition, Piracy and scenario he saw at his china factory where small children were getting humiliated making his product he broke his partnership with his Brother and went ahead to develop his own future in Investing and Financial education business starting RichDad Company.
Roberts Famous Books
At present he has list of best selling books, But the first one ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad‘ is still favorite which resembles the basics of Financial education. Robert Explained Four Quadrants
In his book cash flow quadrant, Robert Kiyosaki properly explained the real life 4 quadrants and difference of making money from each. Below is short review of same.
- E – First Quadrant EMPLOYEE where major people works. This Quadrant pay highest Taxes to government.
- S – Second Quadrant SELF EMPLOYEES, Robert says this are professionals and not business people with 2 or more JOBS, again paying more in taxes.
- B - Third Quadrant being BUSINESS, the 2nd favorite of Robert as it gives lots of money for investing and have flexibility is tax saving.
- I - Fourth and last is INVESTOR, The ultimate goal of making passive income being a smart investor giving least in tax.
Cashflow Board Games
Inspired by his Richdad and legends like ‘Buckminster fuller’ and recommended board game ‘Monopoly’ he made his own version of board game called cash flow 101 which before releasing he tried Demo with Micheal Lechter and her Daughter with many other adults Robert was confused about the success of Cashflow games, But the college going girl who said she got interested and was a nice game made his mind to keep the game tough and release it.
The game has 2 tracks, one being a slow track (RAT RACE) which one needs to come out as fast possible and the other one fast track where you learn fundamentals of business and Investing.
Since that day the cashflow games are played world wide in many special cashflow clubs.
Current Role Of Mr.Kiyosaki
Robert started his career as sales person, followed by starting multiple business with many failed ventures, again getting up to start a new company, Investing in Real estate and Finally one of the greatest business person, Investor with motive of Financial Education he has his company RichDad and has invested in multiple ventures and commodities like Gold, Oil, Stock, Mutual Funds and his favorite Real Estate.
